Importance of a Teacher

For an adult starter the sole most important thing is the teacher. Some beginners tend to ignore this fact and believe that they can give a try without one. Well, let me say this: Learning a cello is not similar to learning to drive. You can not notice the errors you make immediately, and by time that errors will be your true. And when finally you notice it, the amount of effort to fix it will be several times as much.

So, if you are a beginner stop searching the cellos in your price range. Close the other browsers for bows and strings. All you need is a qualified cellist who has good teaching skills. I guess by now you learned that every cello has a different character and it must suit to your taste. Don’t you think this is true for your teacher, a living human being? So spend enough time to find one, try to communicate in real world, and be sure of your compliance.

Most of the professional musicians start their education as a kid. So they solve most of the difficulties without noticing them, or at least easily. But an adult beginner is a different story. Soon you’ll notice you have some muscles you have never aware of. You’ll relearn using them and even more hard task is, to learn not to use them when you don’t need. Your teacher has already solved this issues but he/she must understand the difficulties you are experiencing, and must suggest solutions.

This article ends here, in order to let you begin your search for a teacher. Hey, don’t potter around…
